I dug up and finally finished an incredibly old collab with bib.
It sure is a thing I suppose.
lampreys are actually incredibly adorable. Did you know most of them aren’t even parasitic?
A little-known fact: Invertebrates make up more than 70% of the approximately 1.9 million described species on earth!
The Global Invertebrate Genomics Alliance researchers are hoping to sequence the whole genomes of many of these weird and wonderful creatures. Read more in their Journal of Heredity article.

well on my way of achieving my goals for the year.
I feel accomplished, invincible.
The last commissions of the year! a vampire squid. My camera doesn’t pick up the full range of reds for some reason but the webbing between the tentacles is translucent.
when I find a less time consuming way of making these I think I will make a few more in a darker red.
almost completely caught up on orders…well almost. I look forward to being able to paint something before the year is over.
oh and I have 18” chains back in stock for those who asked.
You’re making vertebrates now? Such a sellout
Another pufferfish, it was too dark of a day to get a good picture of it before I sent it away.
If you’d like to give an awesome sea creature necklace as a gift and absolutely need it before Christmas please order before December 3rd (for usa + canada, or nov. 27th for international)
If you order after that it might get to you in time, but it depends on luck.
Do you feel lucky?
Anonymous asked: You should make a calendar with your lovely paintings as the pictures. That would be so awesome!
Sometimes I fantasize about having already completed at least one painting a month.
